Aims and objectives

Our homes can provide a short, medium or long-term placement for children who need support with their Social emotional and mental health (SEMH).

Emotional and behavioural difficulties may stem from Adverse childhood experiences (ACE’s) or trauma. The children we will accommodate will be having trouble maintaining a placement within their foster homes or larger homes, whether this is down to their behaviour in or away from the home.

We aim to provide a therapeutic and nurturing environment to help support the children learn, grow and work through their past traumas. We will provide an intensive support package delivered by the staff team and therapist working around specific behavioural issues, this will be done with the staff through therapeutic supervision and ensuring that staff have specific training on the child's individual needs and risks.

Our list of objectives are:

  • To support all children into full time education

  • To put the child's voice first and and their views of them and their families at the heart of all we do

  • Deliver a taylor made service for each child and support their individual needs

  • Promote and enhance the child's health and well being (both physical and mental)

  • To provide a warm and nurturing environment for children to thrive

  • To help children to step down into foster placements, back to family or into supported living

  • To ensure that children's attend all health appointments

  • To give children the tools to keep themself safe and have a better understanding of risks than when they came into placement
